Birth and Examination Training Held at Lokman Hekim University Vital Simulation Center

Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Medicine once again demonstrated its commitment to practical medical education. On July 10, 2025, an obstetrics and gynecology training session was held at the Vital Simulation Center for intern doctors continuing their obstetrics and gynecology internship.

In the training, which simulated real clinical scenarios, interns had the opportunity to experience all stages of the delivery process on high-tech medical simulation models. Under the guidance of experienced academics and field practitioners, the training covered normal delivery practices, vaginal examination techniques, and emergency scenarios in detail.

Thanks to Lokman Hekim University’s advanced simulation infrastructure, students were able to go beyond reinforcing their theoretical knowledge and had the opportunity to safely repeat critical applications related to patient safety and professional competence in a secure environment.

Students who participated in the training stated that these types of applications increased their professional confidence and strengthened their motivation to learn before going into the field. Lokman Hekim University aims to continue similar practical training programs in the coming periods to improve the quality of health education.
