Dr. Sevecen Kaplan was born in Antakya in 1992. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Başkent University in 2016. From 2016 to 2020, she worked as a general practitioner at the Altınözü District Health Directorate in Hatay. In 2025, she completed her master’s degree in the Simulation in Health Sciences program at Hacettepe University. During the summer of 2025, she completed her internship at SIMU, the simulation hospital of Masaryk University in the Czech Republic, as part of the Erasmus+ Internship Exchange Program.
In 2025, she began working as an instructor in the Emergency Medical Services Program at the School of Health Services at Lokman Hekim University. She currently continues to serve as an instructor at the same institution and holds the positions of Instructor and Board Member at the Lokman Hekim University ViTAL (Virtual Training and Learning for Healthcare) Simulation Center.
Simulation-based education, 3D design and AR/VR technologies in education, the use of artificial intelligence in education, and training in First Aid and Emergency Care are Dr. Sevecen Kaplan’s areas of special interest.
