Lokman Hekim University VITAL Simulation Center provides medical students with realistic training opportunities in clinical skills and patient management. Students can experience applied courses such as emergency response, outpatient practice, surgical techniques, and obstetric interventions through simulators, in addition to basic sciences such as anatomy, physiology, and pathology. With simulated patient scenarios, students have the opportunity to learn about the patient-doctor relationship and diagnostic processes in a safer environment.

The center’s advanced simulators provide opportunities for practical training in clinical scenarios such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), endoscopy, laparoscopy, operating room procedures, and trauma interventions. In outpatient clinics, students develop their diagnosis, treatment, and patient follow-up skills through simulated patient consultations. In addition, they gain the ability to make quick decisions in critical patient care through intensive care, emergency room, and pediatric intensive care simulations.

These training programs aim to transform medical students’ theoretical knowledge into practical skills, enabling them to enter professional life better equipped. The focus is on clinical decision-making, communication skills, and teamwork, with the goal of ensuring students gain proficiency before graduation. This approach is expected to lead to more successful clinical outcomes, with patient safety as the top priority.
