Midwifery Department Students Receive Practical Training in the “Preparation for Childbirth” Course
Students from the Midwifery Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Lokman Hekim University received practical training at the Vital Simulation Center as part of the Preparation for Childbirth course.
During the course, students were equipped with both theoretical and practical knowledge on exercises, breathing techniques, birthing positions, and supportive approaches for expectant mothers that can be applied during the preparation process for childbirth during pregnancy.
With the training conducted in a simulation-supported environment, students had the opportunity to strengthen their skills in developing a professional approach in the prenatal counseling and education process. At the same time, the course aimed to provide a holistic view of the birth process, with a focus on protective and informative approaches to maternal and infant health.
Lokman Hekim University’s Midwifery Department continues to prepare its students for the field with practical training.
