Three-Day “Internship Transition Training” Successfully Completed at Lokman Hekim University

Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Medicine has successfully completed another important program supporting pre-graduation practical training. The “Internship Transition Training”, held over three days at the Vital Simulation Center, was specially designed for final-year students about to embark on clinical practice.

The training program covered numerous topics, including patient communication, emergency response scenarios, delivery and examination practice, basic life support, cardiac arrest management, clinical case analysis, and teamwork. Advanced technology simulation models capable of simulating real patients and practical sessions conducted in clinical scenario rooms aimed to reinforce students’ professional competencies.

Students participating in the training gained experience in developing their technical skills while also learning to communicate effectively and take responsibility within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The program was enriched with case-based applications under the guidance of academics and clinicians.

Thanks to the robust infrastructure of the Vital Simulation Center, this training model, which provides a safe learning environment in medicine, greatly contributed to students gaining confidence during their transition to the field.
