Located in Ankara, Turkey, the Vital Simulation Center of Lokman Hekim University was established in 2024 as a cutting-edge institution dedicated to advancing healthcare education through immersive, simulation-based learning. The Vital Simulation Center serves as a multidisciplinary training and research hub for students from the Faculties of Medicine, Health Sciences, and Pharmacy, as well as the Vocational School of Health Services. Beyond undergraduate education, the center supports continuous professional development by offering tailored programs for healthcare educators, practitioners, and researchers seeking to integrate simulation into their teaching and clinical practice.

Comprehensive Clinical Simulation Facilities
The center features a state-of-the-art infrastructure that closely replicates real hospital settings. Facilities include three outpatient clinics, multiple patient rooms, a 10-bed ward, a fully equipped emergency department, operating theatre, pediatric intensive care unit, and adult intensive care unit.
Two debriefing rooms and two skills laboratories further enhance experiential learning by allowing participants to reflect on performance, analyze clinical decisions, and consolidate knowledge in a structured environment.
Simulation-Based Learning for Real-World Practice
At the Vital Simulation Center, high-fidelity simulators and standardized patients recreate a wide range of clinical conditions, offering learners hands-on experience across multiple specialties — from internal medicine and pediatrics to obstetrics, pharmacology, and radiology.
